The Bentley Bentayga - A Truly Luxurious SUV?

It is said that you either love Bentley’s or you hate them. Ettore Bugatti described them as "the world's fastest lorries". Whatever your point of view, there is no denying the quality, luxury and elegance of a Bentley and the new Bentayga is no exception.

A Bentley Bentayga in the USA will have a price tag north of $200,000. With a 6 liter, W configuration engine and a power output of 600 BHP, there will be a surprising number of enthusiasts eagerly searching for a 2017 Bentley Bentayga for sale.

The Most Important Launch In Bentley's History

With a history of nearly a century of car production, this is the first ever SUV from Bentley and it is seen as their biggest ever challenge. The Bentayga's chief exterior designer, Sangyup Lee, said that the car was "the most important launch in Bentley's history" and that they were stretching their comfort zone with this model.

Bentley claims that the Bentayga is the fastest, most exclusive and most luxurious SUV in the world. With a top speed of 187 mph and 0 – 60 mph time of just 4 seconds they are probably right. When the name of the car was first announced it was met with a barrage of criticism. Sales and Marketing director, Kevin Rose, defended the name and said "live with it like we have and it fits the car really well".

What Makes It So Special?

The Bentayga is jam packed with all the bells and whistles that you could possibly want. Up to eight drive modes are available thanks to Bentley's "Drive Dynamics Mode" and the optional responsive off road setting. With this, you can select the mode that is closest to the surface that you are currently driving on.

There is also their dynamic ride system, which provides adjustment of the 48 volt powered air suspension so that you can drive at different heights. To climb steep hills with ease you would activate the hill descent control.

The initial Bentayga models will be powered by the Volkswagen Group's W12 engine with an 8 speed automatic transmission. There are rumors of a diesel and hybrid models and even a V8 powered version.

Interior And Exterior

One thing that you can say about the Bentayga is that it certainly looks like a Bentley. The large, distinctive front grill has been maintained and a huge aluminum fender panel and delightful sculpting finish it off well.

Technology has been used throughout, and the twin headlights have knurled beveling around the inside, and the Bentley logo is even embedded in the LED lights. The designers claim that it is the perfect balance of technology and jewelry. The headlight lenses sit flush with the bodywork and are recessed in the fender panel.

The car has daytime running LED lights which change color when the indicators are used. The headlamp washers are located in the center of the lights, as it was felt that the conventional position would spoil the clean lines of the car.

When you sit inside the Bentayga you will feel the quality and elegance immediately. The dashboard maintains a "winged" design that is found in the Mulsanne and the GT. This time they have gone for upper and lower wings.

The interior is incredibly luxurious. There are 15 different pieces of veneered wood trim and there are 15 different shades of leather to choose from. The front seats have a massage function and can be adjusted 22 ways.

In the four seat models, the rear seats have 18 adjustable positions and a rear bench is available if that is preferred. An event seat that can be folded is also available as an option, and if you really want to go all out then you can take advantage of a customized hamper set.

An infotainment system is provided via an eight-inch touch screen and there is a head up display and even night vision. Many safety features are also provided including self-parking, adaptive cruise control and traffic sign recognition.

There is also a Bentley branded Android tablet option for the rear passengers to take advantage of the on board WIFI. This is just a sample of what is available inside of the Bentayga. Have they thought of everything? It certainly comes close to that.

Is It Worth The Money?

With a price of over $200,000, those looking for a new 2017 Bentley Bentayga SUV for sale will need to be true Bentley lovers. The car promises a lot and it is unlikely to disappoint. You get what you pay for in this life, and this level of quality and luxury justifies the price tag.

Ferrari 599 GTO The Most Extreme Sports Car

For now, the Ferrari 599 GTO is the most powerful and fastest road car that Ferrari has ever made. The original GTO was built for the race track, but this is street legal. So if you want one, then be aware that a used Ferrari 599 GTO for sale is going to fetch a high price and there are very few available on the market.

The 599 GTO is claimed by Ferrari to be "the most extreme sports car" they have ever built. The car has stunning good looks and the breathtakingly fast acceleration can take some getting used to when driving on the street. In second gear it pulls away extremely fast, in fact it is impressive in every gear.

Based Upon Racetrack Technology

The hottest ever street legal Ferrari has been based upon the technology used in the racetrack only 599XX. It delivers an incredible 661 Brake Horse Power at 8250 rpm and the claimed 0-60 mph time is around 3.1 seconds.

The 6 liter, front engine V12 is a DOHC with 48 valves, an aluminum block and heads and port fuel injection. The transmission is powered by a 6 speed automated manual box that delivers exceptionally quick gear changes.

With this kind of power available it is critically important that you can stop the car when you need to. This is not a problem on the 599 GTO as braking power is superb thanks to the new Brembo ceramic pads.

Superior Upgrades

The car has undergone many upgrades to its engine and gearbox, aerodynamics, electronics and the braking system. The tappets have a diamond like coating and the cam lobes and other engine parts have been highly polished which delivers a 12 percent increase in efficiency. It is 100kg lighter than the GTB model.

The fuel efficiency has been improved and Ferrari claims that the driver interaction level is greater than it has ever been on any of their previous models. The intake system has been completely revised and when this is combined with the new six into one exhaust manifold the car produces a magnificent sound that you could just listen to all day long.

All of this results in the 599 GTO being able to complete a lap at Ferrari’s Fioarano test track quicker than an Enzo.

Firm And Superior Ride

The 599 GTO has a firmer ride than you would expect from a Ferrari. The steering is very direct and the gear changes are exceedingly quick. It has an entirely different feel from the regular 599 GTB. It is superior in every regard.

For a car based on a race track formula, it has very good ride quality and handling. This is thanks to the auto adjusting magnetorheological shock absorbers. When driving at high speeds you can adjust the ride quality to five different positions using the manettino dial that is located on the lower right corner of the steering wheel center. This will govern stability control, traction control and gear shift responses. If you turn off the traction and stability control you can have some real fun as it is like a beast has been unleashed.

A Functional Interior

When you get inside there is a distinctive racecar feel about the 599. There are no carpets, but rubber mats and the interior is not over extravagant. The shift paddles are a joy to use and you will fit very comfortably into the racing seats which have four point harnesses. There are drilled alloy pedals and an impressive carbon fiber instrument panel. A row of lights on the steering wheel will illuminate, letting you know when it is time to shift up a gear.

With all that said, when you get into the 599 you know that you are sitting in a high quality performance road car

If You Want One Don’t Waste Any Time

It is going to be difficult for you to find a used Ferrari 599 GTO for sale as there were only 599 built and their owners just simply do not want to part with them. If you do see a Ferrari 599 GTO for sale, then do everything that you can to purchase this amazing car because you will never be disappointed by it.

When you are looking for one of these excellent machines you will find that Ferrari GTO prices are high even for a used car. Is it worth the high price? You had better believe it!

Lamborghini Huracan

"It's like a time machine. Only Faster. There is nothing from the past that rivals the technology of the new Huracan, which comes together in a perfect car that seems straight out of the future.”

That is the description Lamborghini gave for its newest supercar. The ultra-high-performance vehicle reaches a top speed of 202 miles per hour, going from 0 to 62 mph in 3.2 seconds.

The Huracan’s anti-theft system is something to rage about as well. Many people driving ultra-luxurious cars probably worry about theft. After all, if a thief is willing to risk prison for a Honda, he is definitely willing to risk it for a Lamborghini. A satellite anti-theft system has been integrated into the Huracan. The system prevents the engine from starting in case the vehicle is stolen. According to Lamborghini, it is the most advanced anti-theft system in the world.

The supercar truly does look like it somehow drove here out of the future. It is sleek, yet powerful and one of the best creations that Lamborghini has graced the public with (so far).

With an MSRP of $237,250 at 602 HP and a 5.2L engine, the Huracan is extremely affordable. It is smaller than the Aventador and can be looked at as the new Gallardo. We can expect it to sell much better than the Aventador as well because its lower cost makes it much less intimidating to buyers. It is considered more of an "everyday" car (if any Lamborghini can be considered as such), than a special occasion car.

Lamborghini has yet to disappoint. We are sitting on the edge of our seats waiting to see what they will surprise us with next!

The Return of the Grand Alfa Romeo

Like children excited for Christmas to arrive, we have eagerly been awaiting the release of the Alfa Romeo 4C.

It will be on the market in the US later this month or in early July, but only a limited amount cars will be released to start with, making this automobile high in demand compared to the other Alfa Romeos on the market. Production will increase to the thousands however over the upcoming year, thus making sure there will be plenty to go around. The sports car has a 237 HP, 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine, and a lightweight carbon-fiber body. Rumors have spread about the potential price tag of the new vehicle, ranging from $54,000 to $90,000. Our guess is that it will land somewhere in the middle. What we can be sure of however, is that the 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C will be affordable to the general public, while having the features of an exotic luxury car.

Attaining the Unattainable

Among the fine vehicles listed on GoCars, one in particular has caught my eye recently: the 2014 Lamborghini Aventador.

Ferruccio Lamborghini created a successful agricultural equipment business that he quickly expanded and transformed into what is now one of the most revered and well-known luxury automobile companies.
It is difficult to comprehend that a company primarily responsible for the production of tractors created the Aventador pictured above. Its bright python green interior and exterior cater to those with a passion for beautiful and exotic artifacts. Car enthusiasts might be more interested to learn that at 700 HP and only 198 miles, the price lands at just above half a million dollars. At its heart rests a V12 engine that is loud, aggressive, and absolutely luxurious. Its agility and superb craftsmanship are what make so desirable by many, but attainable by only a select few.

This leads me to the world of exclusive luxury automobiles itself. The Koenigsegg Trevita, for example, is one of the most sought after vehicles in the world. And with only three ever made, it’s no wonder why. It can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 2.9 seconds. The Trevita also has a diamond finish, which causes it to literally sparkle as if it were encased in millions of diamonds.

Next there is the Lamborghini Veneno, which is based on the Aventador (pictured above), one of the main differences being that the Veneno is a street-legal racing auto and only 3 will ever be produced. Its Bat Mobile appearance and L539 6.5-liter V-12 engine with 740 HP make it an intimidating specimen indeed. If you ever aspired to owning a Veneno or even seeing one in person, I have two words for you: good luck.

Lastly, and possibly more impressive than both the Lamborghini Veneno and the Koenigsegg Trevita, is the Maybach Exelero with a lofty price of 8 million dollars. Its twin turbo V12 engine makes the automobile impressive, but what may bring it above its competitors is that there was only one ever produced. At 700 HP the auto is powerful and unique, resembling a Rolls Royce or Bentley more than a Lamborghini or Ferrari. However, it is a racecar at its finest. Its beauty is somewhat vulgar, making it more desirable and fabulous than I would care to admit.

The limited amount of the vehicles listed above gives power and prestige to their owners. The public adores what it cannot have. More importantly, it thrives on the sweet torture of wanting something so unattainable, yet desired by so many.
